I was happy to know that the first fashion show I watched in 2012 would be from Sebastian Gunawan. There’s an image of a lady in cheongsam on the invitation and the fashion show would be titled Shanghai Swing.
So it’s obvious that the fashion show would showcase Sebastian
Gunawan’s creativity in designing cheongsam to welcome Chinese New Year.
I can recall how amazed I was to see how cheongsam could turn into extraordinary pieces of art in Seba’s hand last year. I also felt so excited to see beautiful dresses he created in Reflection of You fashion
show. Apparently, Seba tried to maintain his signature style he had
built in those previous shows in creating Shanghai Swing collection.
