Danone and Sebastian Gunawan: Fashion Show for Charity

Founder dan CEO YCAB (three from the left) Veronica Colondam was among the parties appreciated before the commencement of Sebastian Gunawan fashion show “The Reflections of You” on Jun 15, 2011. The partnership of YCAB and Sebastian Gunawan started in 2005, in which the premium seats were sold for charity for YCAB Foundation.



The Procession at the Sebastian Gunawan show with Danone: “The Reflections of You”. This year, Danone launched a new product “Aqua Reflections” whose glass bottle designed by Sebastian Gunawan and is targeted to the upscale market both domestic and international.

Founder and CEO YCAB Veronica Colondam (left) receieved an Aqua Reflection Inspirational People Award from Charlie Cappeti (COO Danone), observed by two other recipients: Nicholas Saputra, Aqua Brand Ambassador and Ms. Dian Muljadi. YCAB and Sebastian Gunawan partnership went back to 2005 with several fashion shows held for charity with various themes: Classic Divine (2005), Rendezvouz (2006), Sweet and Swinging (2007), and Femmale Fatale (2010).

One of the 77 cocktail designs by Sebastian Gunawan shown. Since 2005, the donation from the fashion show to YCAB had reached more than 2 billion IDR (US$250,000). The donation has allocated to educate more than 1,000 underprivileged and drop-out children in Indonesia, and supports them to be economically independent.

Renowned designer Sebastian Gunawan with his design partner and wife, Cristina, are both known for their charitable activities to support for Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB). The premium seats were sold for charity at his “Reflection of You” on 15 June 2011 fashion show to help fund the comprehensive program for youth development, particularly for the underprivileged and drop-outs children.
